Rising Star Margarit Torgomyan is one of our newest agents at the #BHHSGoldenProperties office. She is making giant strides in the business in a short amount of time. We sat down with Margarit for some Monday Motivation tips. 

1- Why did you decide to work in real estate? 

I know that owning a home or investing in real estate is a dream many have. I use my own experience and knowledge to teach others on how to save money, increase credit score and become a homeowner. I decided to get into the industry to help others achieve the dream of home ownership.

2- Have you created a daily routine for yourself? 

It’s tough with three kids. I wake up at 6am, and start my day before they’re up. It’s especially difficult to create a routine in the summer when the children are home, but fortunately my husband is a huge help. What I love about working in real estate is the flexibility of finding a match with clients, and planning around their schedule. I constantly work around my family’s schedule. Any pocket of free time is work. I am constantly updating myself on the industry. I look through the MLS daily so I know what’s in our market. 

3- What has it been like to represent clients, and has it been sellers or buyers or both? Describe the experience with the clients. 

I’ve been working with both sellers and buyers. Each one is a different experience. Sometimes sellers have an expectation of what  price point their home should go for, and it’s my job to show them realistic comparable home prices when choosing the best price for their home.  

With the buyers the challenge is to find a home in their budget that also meet their expectation. It takes time when you show property to a client for them to get a grasp of the market. I’ve been lucky enough to work with clients who understand how the market works. Sometimes it takes a little longer for me to paint that picture for them. 

4-  How do you market your listings?  

I market my listings on the MLS – Through taking professional photos and making sure to capture the property in the best light. I go around the neighborhood and make sure all the neighbors know about the listing. I also blast e-mails and post it all over social media. 

5- What has been your favorite part of the Golden Office and working in real estate? 

It’s a lot of support. I get a lot of support. Everyone is kind and willing to help and share their expertise. We get mentoring classes and every bit helps hold us accountable and be the best we can be for our clients.
